About Us

Stage Russia is an intercultural project that films performances presented by the finest theater companies in Russia and distributes them in HD, translated and subtitled, into cinemas, arts centers and universities across the globe. At the core of our goals is to share the beauty and universality of Russian culture.

In order to achieve this aim, and in an attempt to present the full breadth and scope of Russian theater, both classic and modern, we often move beyond titles and productions targeted for mass appeal. Experimental pieces ranging from Boris Yukhananov's visually stunning modern opera Drillalians to Timofey Kulyabin's flawlessly staged sign language production of Three Sisters to Yury Butusov's wildly frenetic and fearless Seagull are all vitally important works that we've captured on film for cinema and streaming audiences today, and even more importantly for posterity.

All this is made possible with generous contributions from world theater and culture lovers like you. Please consider making a gift now so that we can continue in our efforts. Your tax-deductible donation, at any level, is deeply appreciated!

Fractured Atlas's fiscal sponsorship program helps artists and arts organizations raise money from charitable sources.
